Mr.
Mostow began his filmmaking career while a student at
Harvard University, where he directed numerous award-winning
shorts and documentaries. His 1991 directorial debut,
the Showtime television movie Flight Of Black Angel,
earned him a Cable ACE nomination for Best International
Movie or Special.
Jonathan Mostow first gained attention as the writer and director
of the 1997 Paramount thriller Breakdown, starring Kurt
Russell. Since then, he directed the finale of the Emmy
Award-winning HBO mini-series, From The Earth To The
Moon. He also served as executive producer of the 1997
Polygram thriller The Game, starring Michael Douglas
and Sean Penn.
Recently,
Mr. Mostow partnered with former Universal Pictures
Production President Hal Lieberman, to create Mostow/Lieberman
Productions.
