LATEST ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER NEWS FLASH WHY T3 PULLS OUT OF CANADA! 18/02/2002 DarkHorizons.com: Terminator 3: Just when you thought Hollywood had relocated north, now comes word that the trend of 'running away to Canada' for film productions seems to be slowing with word that T3 will no longer be shooting up there. Producers pulled the plug this week on the filming with the $170 million movie now set to be entirely shot in Los Angeles when it starts in April (no mention of the Australia shooting though). Why the change though? Producer Joel Michaels told Canadian media that "What happened was a facility in Los Angeles called the L.A Center Studio became available at the last minute, which made it feasible to shoot the entire film here, in LA". However members of the press have been coming up with some other explanations including Schwarzenegger's political ambitions in California (cynical journalists - can you imagine that. |
