TAFs ATTENDS "T3" HOLLYWOOD PREMIERE!Interviewing the stars on the red carpet! Reported By: Randy Jennings Monday, July 1, 2003 Los Angeles, CA - Last night in Westwood Village, the years' biggest and best gala premiere brought out big stars to celebrate the return of Arnold for the Hollywood premiere of "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines!" TheArnoldFans.com was here on the red carpet to bring you exclusive Q & As with many of Arnold's supporting friends.
First, let's take you on a tour of the premiere set. Here, on the red carpet, we see many of the film's props are on display. Some incredible machines were present including the TX robot, the Endoskeleton, T-1's and the all new T3 special edition Toyota Tundra. There were a few trucks on the lot; one suspended high in the air by a crane, one carrying the robots and ALL of them with one red glowing headlight (just like the Endo eye).
...and what is a Terminator premiere without the adoring Terminator fans? Here we see many Arnold aficionados sitting in the bleachers winning T3 shirts after T1 and T2 trivia. Behind me are the fans who have camped out for hours including the Gillinator - dressed in Terminator attire!
At 6:15 pm, the premiere kicked off to a big bang! With booming pyrotechnics, a grand unveiling of a 40-foot tall standee of Arnold, complete with glowing red eye, was ceremoniously revealed on top of the Westwood theater!
While the T3 score was blaring, a long procession of terminator look-alikes marched down the street, accompanied by a couple of Stan Winston-designed robot-controlled T-1s. What an awesome sight and sound!
It is time! The celebrities arrived! After exiting their limos and Hummers, the stars walked past the photographers for their pose-downs and then made their way up onto a platform. Here on this stage, many of the stars would take the mic and thank the fans for coming. Positioned on the red carpet between one of the country’s biggest magazine publications and one of the top California news channels, TheArnoldFans.com asked the questions we have not heard asked 100 times already. We instead tried to bring you the questions ARNOLD FANS want to hear from the following celebrities. Below are summaries of TAFs red carpet celebrity interviews. Over the next few weeks we’ll bring you actual video clips. Mario Kassar and Andy Vajna First up, I grabbed the two film producers of T2, Total Recall and T3 and I demanded “Crusade” information. At one time in the early ‘90s, producers Mario Kassar and Andy Vajna were to produce Arnold’s once greenlit CRUSADE project but they opted for “Cutt-throat Island” instead - ultimately bringing down the Caralco film studio. They informed me they would still love to one day soon get back with Arnold’s baby Crusade as soon as the script goes through more rewrites. I also asked them if they have any other film projects in mind for Arnold. At this time “no”.
Stan Winston Next, Stan Winston greeted me to discuss his friendship with Arnold: the bike rides, stogies, chess and more. I also asked The Man if he still intends to release the once-proposed and overdue talking Endoskull computer component. After all the bugs are worked out, it will be back!
Mark Famiglietti Co-star of “T3”, who plays Kate Brewster’s fiancé, talks to TAFs about one of the most violent scenes in the movie and the future of Arnold movies he personally wants to see!
The Blue Man Group Contributing to an ending credits song, musicians the Blue Man Group decided to “let off some steam” while posing for TAFs.
Evan a.k.a. JOE millionaire We want to know if this big guy is following “Arnold’s Encyclopedia of Bodybuilding” to workout or is this guy’s “ass soft like marshmallow”?
Tia Carrere Still incredibly sexy, “True Lies” villain Tia Carrere talks to TAFs about her last talk with Cameron and my answers my curiosity to her possible survival of the limousine bridge plunge.
Jonathan Mostow Terminator 3 director tells TAFs about the additional footage shot for the upcoming Terminator video game and we learn why Arnold looks the way he does.
Kenny G. We thought one of the world’s best known “soft” playing musicians needed a taste of some real music! This musician needed a heavy dose of an audio assault! An ArnoCorps CD was given to him so he could be truly prepared to see an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie!
Jon Voight Voight, a big fan of Arnold would love to one day work with the Oak. You may remember him from our Collateral Damage red carpet interview. He also puts on a good Arnold impersonation!
Gary Sinise Forest Gump star Gary Sinise was proud to admit he was an Arnold fan but did not want to do his Arnold impression this evening on the red carpet in fears of embarrassment!
David Andrews I asked David Andrews, T3 film star, about his involvement of the big secret towards the end of the movie. Naturally I will not add this question now but Andrews was fast to make up the surprise ending that he is in fact "Arnold's baby". Nice try!
Nick Stahl TAFs asks the future leader of mankind how he personally enjoyed the movie.
Kristanna Loken The film’s lead villain, the TX, answers TAFs about her level of fun she shared with the T3 cast and we quiz her on the lovely outfit and body decoration. Kristanna is gorgeous!
Arnold Schwarzenegger with Maria Shriver TheArnoldFans asks the Terminator himself if he is “feeling the pump” with such an exciting time in his life and the wild crowd enthusiasm!
Other celebrity guests we saw throughout the event were Eraser star Vanessa Williams, Twins star Danny Devito, Amanda Bynes, Rhea Pearlman, Jim Lorimer, Dieter and Conan the Barbarian co-writer Oliver Stone. Later that evening, after the movie, the stars headed to the secret location of the T3 After-party. Here, security was tight and only four news crews were invited to cover the event: Entertainment Tonight, E!, Access Hollywood and ... uh, TheArnoldFans.com? Could this be true? If you want more Terminator 3 coverage, YOU’LL BE BACK! ----------
