EXCLUSIVE: LONDON "T3" PREMIER REPORT!Arnold & T3 cast and crew pumps London! Reported By: René de Jong Wednesday, July 23, 2003 I AM BACK! Two days ago, on July 21, it was time for Arnold to pump up London with the official "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" premier and of course I was there to represent TheArnoldFans.com and to bring you an exclusive report on one of the best (if not the biggest) European premieres. At 1 p.m. hundreds of fans could already be found in front of the Odeon Cinema on London's Leicester Square while preparations were still on its way. The old "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" promotion posters were being replaced by gigantic T3 posters and silver T3 letters. Furthermore a crew of a dozen men were working to install the fences, sound system and eventually lay down the red carpet. Time enough for TAFs to get a closer look at Arnold sightings in London.

On our way to pick up our special T3 TV Crew badges, premiere tickets and a special invitation for the after party, we saw several coaches driving by with T3 advertisements on the side and back.

We also went by Planet Hollywood London where we had a drink while watching the life-size statue standing near the bar of the restaurant. Afterwards we placed our hands in Arnold's cement print in front of the Odeon Cinema and talked to some nervous fans.
![]() The sound system was being tested and a big T3 logo was made into the red carpet. Time was ticking by and at 6:45 it was time to get the crowd started. Music could be heard throughout all off London and it was time for the stars to arrive.
At 7 p.m. thousands of fans were ready for the kick off. More than 4,000 fans had gathered to get a glimpse of Arnold and his co-stars. Unlike the LA premier there were no T-1s driving over the red carpet, but another mean machine was getting the crowd fired up. The Jaguar F1 car, that was driven to the finish at the Grand Prix contest the day before the premiere, came running up the red carpet. With a loud engine sound the fans on the square were alerted this premiere wouldn't be for the girly men, but for the die-hard Terminator fans.
The first cars pulled over at the front of the red carpet and the lesser known celebrities arrived posing in front of the cameras. But soon the carpet was filled with celebrities. First to arrive was Claire Danes, introduced as the girl who ones kissed Leonardo DiCaprio in "Romeo & Juliet", now playing the role of Kate Brewster in T3. Claire hadn't shown up at the LA premier so there were still many questions to ask her. The press loved her presence and while she was still giving away several interviews it was already time for the Terminatrix to arrive.
Dressed in pink, wearing an £80,000 necklace, Kristanna once again knew how to please the fans and press. Looking absolutely gorgeous this killing machine was enjoying every minute of the crowd¹s attention. With a big hug she greeted co-star Claire Danes who was still answering questions and took extra time to pose for the press. We also got to ask the Terminatrix some excellent questions which we'll feature in our second report.

With these two leading ladies stealing the show, it was time for Johnathan Mostow to show up. This Terminator fan and director of the most expensive and action-packed instalment of all three, seemed to love to see the crowd's excitement for the film and stopped by TAFs to talk about the upcoming T3 DVD and the specials that will probably be included. At the same time that Johnathan joined Claire Danes and Kristanna Loken to be interviewed the producers were already strolling down the red carpet while shaking hands and giving away signatures.

But then, finally the moment was there! Terminator music started to emerge and the big man himself would appear. The moment everybody had been waiting for. Arnold arrived, together with his wife Maria, looking happier than ever. He took all the time to greet all his fans before talking to the press, proving once again how much he cares about his fans. Wearing the same boots he was wearing at a business meeting in Ireland earlier this year Arnold was unstoppable. Followed by his stunt-double Dieter (who we got to talk to as well) and Maria. Arnold walked down the isle towards the cinema. There he first talked to the press and posed together with Maria in front of all the cameras which were lined up to get a glimpse of the terminator.
Talking to the press:
Arnold's boots, Maria and posing for the press:
After talking to the press Arnold went inside and that meant it was time for TAFs to go inside with the stars. While entering, we saw how Arnold was talking to the other cast and crew members in the lobby. The cinema itself was packed with the special guests who were invited to the premiere screening. On the screen a special making-off was shown, but before Arnold would come inside to talk to the guests, he went upstairs to the balcony of the cinema. On the cinema's big screen the guests could witness how Arnold, Kristanna, Claire and Johnathan talked to the fans outside, thanking them for all the support and telling them one more time they should definitely go and see the movie soon!
Afterwards it was time for Arnold's speech. Finally it was time for Arnold to be introduced to the lucky guests who were about to witness the biggest action hit of the summer. Arnold started: "I love being back! The last time when I was here I said "I'll be back" and I am back, so it's fantastic! I never dreamt in 1967, when I won the Mr. Universe contest for the first time here in London, that 36 years later I would be here introducing Terminator 3. I mean, who would have dreamt something like that? So that's when I was the first time here in London, to win the Mr. Universe contest, and of course, if you have muscles like that you'll get in the movies easier. So I went to America took on and I've come here many times to England promoting bodybuilding and movies and every time it's so exciting to be back here. The fans are unlike anything else, when you arrive out there, you don't just see thousands of fans, you see them with such enthusiasm and such energy and all the terminator posters and pictures and all kind of things, I mean, I just love it coming around here. So, I want to thank the fans, I want to thank all of you so much for making the Terminator movies so successful because it's you the crowd, you the fans that make these movies successful. So, I want to thank you all for being here tonight and I want to thank Sony Pictures for organizing such an extraordinary premiere here. And I want to thank again Johnathan Mostow for directing with such enthusiasm. Thank you very much, thanks you ALL and I'LL BE BACK! Thank you all!" And with that Arnold had kicked off the movie which was shown right after he left the stage. Do you want to know what happened at the After-Party and what Kristanna and Johnathan Mostow had to tell TAFs exclusively? Then be sure to come back soon again for our second report! ----------
