The original scene in the garage was originally much longer than the version released to the public. Here we see how John and Sarah reset the Terminator so he can learn more about human life. When they remove the CPU, Sarah wants to destroy it, but John stops her. Here is when John first gives a command which will influence the future. ![]() Removing the bullets. Sarah's still removing the bullets from the Terminator's back. The glass is nearly full of flattened bullets. ![]() Reset the Terminator. Then John asks if the Terminator can learn more by reseting the chip in his head. ![]() The opperation. Sarah puts down the X-acto knife with which she cut into the Terminator's scalp at the base of his skull. ![]() Calmly the Terminator directs Sarah to spread open the bloody incision and locate the main port for the CPU in his chrome skull. ![]() She wipes away some blood to get a closer look of the port. ![]() The terminator watches her work in a mirror they've taken from the washroom. Sarah and John are standing next to him. John holds a lamp and Sarah does the hard work. ![]() Now open the port cover, says the Terminator, and pull to break the seal. ![]() Good, now remove the shock demping esempling, directs the Terminator. ![]() You can now access the CPU, you see it, asks the Terminator. Yes, says Sarah. ![]() Pull the CPU by it's base tab. ![]() PULL, says the Terminator. ![]() Then when Sarah pulls the CPU out of Arnold's scull and you see the red view of the Terminator, a burst of static and then the screen goes black. ![]() The terminator's eyes are open and he's completely inert.
