After Sarah gets beaten by Douglas, she has a dream in which Kyle Reese comes back to tell her she has to be strong. The beginning of a vision Sitting on her bed suddenly a hand enters the screen and gently strokes her cheek. She wakes up. Kyle? You're dead. Kyle Reese is sitting on the edge of her bed looking the same as he did in the first Terminator. He smiles. Where's our son Sarah? Kyle says their son is now the target and she has to protect him. Sarah asks him how to do that, when her son doesn't even want to see her. Remember the message... THE FUTURE IS NOT SET. THERE IS NO FATE BUT WHAT WE MAKE FOR OURSELVES. I love you. Kyle and Sarah embrace and say they love each other. Kyle says he'll always be with her no matter what happens. Then suddenly he's gone. Stay with me. Then Kyle's standing at the door and says: "There's not much time left in the world, Sarah". And he walks away. Kyle, don't go!! Sarah starts running through the hall to catch up with Kyle who's gone. Children?? Sarah's still running and opens a door. Then she sees kids playing nearby. Then she knows everything is a dream... it's the worst of all her nightmares. She wakes up!! Then there's a blast and Sarah wakes up. She's lying on the floor of her room where Douglas left her.
