Aloha Tia Carrere: TAFs Gets Lai'd!
Meeting a "True Lies" Hottie!

TheArnoldFans caught up with "True Lies" co-star Tia Carrere and listened to her perform live to a packed room of her fans. As Tia admirers entered the large cafe lounge (inside of Borders Book Store), we were given a traditional Hawaiian lai to wear around our necks. The actress who played Juno in "True Lies" gave Sacramento, California a rare musical treat where she entertained all by singing a few songs from her latest Hawaiian CD titled "Hawaiiana". Before Carrere took the stage, she first posed for TheArnoldFans.com. Babe-alicious as ever, this Schwarzenegger co-star still rocks our World.

Most actresses can not sing and should really stick to acting. "Don't give up your day job," says Jack Slater. However, Carrere really surprised me. Her voice is beautiful and it melted me to butter. After her free half-hour performance, she signed autographs for all in the back of the bookstore. I wanted to fully support any Tia project so I purchased her CD (highly recommend it if you like Hawaiian music). Luckily for me, I discovered Tia would sign a special large photo of herself for those who bought Hawaiiana. She signed mine "To the Arnold Fans, Aloha".

During our quick chat, I asked Carrere if she'd heard anything about an upcoming True Lies special edition DVD. She did not hear any new rumblings but told me she's looking forward to it and she'd be happy to help out with a commentary. I then mentioned that I had seen one deleted scene on her website, TiaCarrere, showing Juno putting a grenade between Helen's legs (no longer online). She said there were quite a few deleted goodies but some of her main scenes were never scored. So if Cameron does a special edition and reinserts these scenes (such as Juno on the bed with Harry), these scenes would need to be re-scored by Brad Fiedel (True Lies and Terminator composer). Come on Cameron, help us out. We NEED these scenes!

Before I left, I gave Carrere a gift: an ArnoCorps CD. I informed her that this most excellent and ballsy band just so happens to have a song called "True Lies"! On the red carpet of "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines", Tia talked to TheArnoldFans about her possible survival in the True Lies limousine bridge accident . Although it's highly unlikely she would have survived, she told me if she gets offered a role in the sequel - she'll be back. Unfortunately, this beauty might need to be mangled and peg-legged from her tragic accident, but she'd jump at the chance for another Scharzenegger film.
