"Terminator: SCC" Season 2 Gets 13 New Episodes!

"Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" received it's fate from FOX and to no surprise, this prime time hit has been officially picked up for season 2! Now we can finally see Cameron's brutal battle damage from her vehicle explosion. Make up artist Rob Hall will surely have to work hard to pull off that grotesque visual!

Fox has picked up 13 new episodes so far for season two. If you're going to San Diego Comic Con in July, expect a big presentation on season 2 for "Chronicles" as well as "T4".

Speaking of T4, casting is moving forward. The Hollywood Reporter lets us all know the new name to be attached to T4: Moon Bloodgood, who starred in NBC's short-lived series "Journeyman," is in final negotiations for the female lead in the fourth installment of the "Terminator" movie series. She is relatively unknown, but from what she has done she's proved to be quite a good actress plus very attractive as a bonus. She was also in the TV series "Day Break", an action/drama/noir where Taye Diggs kept living the same day over and over. It was cancelled after only 6 episodes, but it's worth catching all 13 on DVD now. In a weird way, she's carving out a niche as the chick in series involving time travel.

She will join Christian Bale, Sam Worthington and Anton Yelchin in the 2009 Warner Bros. release. Bloodgood is said to play a "no-nonsense and battle-hardened member of the resistance who is carrying a lot of guilt over surviving the nuclear holocaust." Principal photography is set to begin May 5.
