New Arnold Toys & TAFs Speaks with "T:SCC" Creator!

TheArnoldFans recently spoke with Creator/Executive Producer Josh Friedman from TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES. As we have reported earlier, "T:SCC" has officially been picked up for Season 2 so we had to speak with Josh to congratulate him on his renewed Terminator project. During our call, we followed up on that "Underwater Terminator" script that Josh gave TAFs as an exclusive back at Wonder Con.

About Season Two, how far into the season do we need to wait for "Underwater Terminator" to come out? Have you started working on that yet?

J. Friedman
Underwater Terminator? I do love Underwater Terminator. I believe heavily in underwater Terminator. Someone’s going to have to write me a big check for me to be able to do Underwater Terminator. But I have a weird infatuation with Underwater Terminator. But I spend a lot of time, frankly, talking to people about the buoyancy level of terminators and whether I think they can swim, whether they sink, how they propel themselves, and yet I’ve never written anything about Underwater Terminators so it’s just one of those weird hobbies that I have is trying to figure out like what they do underwater and how they look. It’s dear to my heart, it is Randy, it’s dear to my heart.

Will the crew be at Comic Con this year?

J. Friedman
I hope so. If we’re invited. Yes. Hope to be there.

And get some more Star Wars legos, right?

J. Friedman:
Dude, I can’t spend any more money on Star Wars legos, it’s just, my son has moved on to Bionicle, which has a mythology that is even more complicated that Terminator or Star Wars. So I have a feeling I’ll be buying weird Bionicle legos.

It sounds like everyone at TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES wants to do Comic Con again this July. Our good friend at WB wrote us in hopes to see us there again this year. Don't worry, TAFs has our tickets and will be reporting on everything in Arnold's universe. You gotta be there for the biggest pop culture party ever!

Sideshow Collectibles will also be at Comic Con. They will be showcasing all their great Terminator collectibles once again as well as showing us some new Predator collectibles. Check out this new 1/4 scale bust that even features some articulation in the neck and a removable mask! We'll tell you soon how and when to pre-order this cool mini bust!

Last year Sideshow Collectibles had officially announced that they had picked up the "Conan the Barbarian" license and will give us some great Arnold collectibles. The Sideshow website now teases fans with four Comic Con exclusives. Wouldn't it be nice if this second from the left mini bust is Arnold?! Is that a hint of a sword we see in his grip? Let's pray to Crom that it is!
