Arnold's Terminator Return Gets a Little More Promising!
When Does Arnold Head Into the Sound Studio?

It's only August and TheArnoldFans doesn't plan on meeting up with Arnold again in person until December. That's a long four months to go until we can get Governor Schwarzenegger to hopefully give us the exclusive on when he'll be contributing to Terminator Salvation. From what we learned at Comic Con by McG's statements to the fans, and by some live sources we spoke with on the side, Arnold fans should indeed be happy with this film.
As we reported in the past, Roland Kickinger was to play the Arnold role but the real question is...just how much of Roland's actual face will be seen on the big screen? We were at one time told that he looks like a young Arnie from T1 so he was cast. But now, far too many sources are telling us that there will be a CG Arnold, so this leaves us to believe that Roland will only be the body of the cyborg. Is it possible Roland had to wear a greenscreen mask over his entire head which would later become a more familiar Austrian face? It shouldn't be too much longer until one of us tracks down McG or Roland to ask exactly that question. Otherwise we can ask Arnold in December to hear his coded and teasing McG-ish response.

McG, responding to the all-mighty question of Arnold's return, first told the fans at comic con:
"Answering those questions would deprive all of us of the joy of the release of the picture. As with the T-800 model, the T-800 model IS INDEED a part of the mythology of Terminator!!"
That sounded promising enough but then he followed up with MovieWeb.com. We showed you this clip on July 30th, Arnold's birthday, but click the video below if you missed it. McG once again gives us great hope.
MovieWeb: Is it true that Arnold Schwarzenegger has given his okay for a CGI image of him in the film? Is that to be over the Austrian bodybuilder that was just hired on?
McG: "I can't speak to the prospect of Arnold Schwarzenegger being in the film... but perhaps in my not speaking to it, I'm speaking to it very directly." (showing a bad poker face as if he knows something juicy).
McG tells also just told JoeBlow.com: "You may even see a Terminator or two from the past." (Give a huge smile and walks away on that note)
The big questions are, how many lines of dialouge will Arnold say in "Salvation" and what month will he go into the sound studio to record his lines? Didn't Schwarzenegger only say 17 lines or so of dialogue in T1? For TheArnoldFans, we'd be happy if Arnold says at least one sentence in T4. More Schwarzenegger dialouge the better, but this film MUST have Arnold in it to tie the films together and to get one hundred percent of all terminator fans on board.
Can you imagine how bad Arnold would be kicking himself if he didn't become involved with 2009's biggest theatrical hit and leaving his last mark on T3 - which didn't go over too well with most Terminator fans. Arnold hopefully knows he needs to bring his iconic character back with fans and leave them cheering in the theaters for his big CG return and Austrian voice-over perfection.
