TAFs recently conducted an all new interview with Vernon Wells (Bennett) of Commando so stick around for that interview! In other Commando news, it has come to TAFs’ attention that Sam Worthington is interested in playing the role of John Matrix in the forthcoming reboot of “Commando”. Apparently after getting a taste of an Arnold-like role as a good guy terminator in “Terminator Salvation”, he is now interested in trying to fill Arnold’s shoes directly in one of his most iconic roles.

TAFs has a good relationship with Worthington and respects him as an actor, but our expectations are not incredibly high in this case. From “Terminator Salvation”, we all learned that when an attempt is made to make an “Arnold movie” without Arnold, the result is less than spectacular. And “Commando” is definitely and “Arnold movie”. TAFs would prefer to see Mr. Worthington take his talent to a more suitable project and leave this classic film alone.
Speaking of “Terminator Salvation”, TAFs has one other Arnold related news item that it wants to bring to the attention of its readers. Our friends at TheTerminatorFans.com had the chance to interview Raffael Dickreuter, one of the talents behind the visuals of Terminator Salvation. Raffael was responsible for previsualising sequences in the movie including the harvester and moto-terminator chase.

For anyone that is interested in reading about what it was like for a terminator fan to work on the special effects for a terminator film, as well as his honest thoughts on “Terminator Salvation” and the franchise as a whole, TAFs recommends the TTFs article found HERE.
Now for some T2:3D news! Adrian from JamesCameronOnline.com informs us they did a recent interview with Gary Goddard who detailed the production and story of T2:3D. Check it out HERE!
JCO: Do you think it will ever get released on DVD or Bluray?
GG: Well you know "The Making of T2/3D" was on the T2 special edition release. But I think that might be as much as ever gets on DVD or Blue Ray - as it would be difficult to really get the T2/3D experience onto the DVD format - as its an experience DESIGNED to seen and felt within the particular theatre setting we built for it. For theme park attractions - "the medium is the message" and in this case, as I stated up above, we decided that the audience would not be in a passive theatre OBSERVING the action - they would be in the MIDST OF IT. The entire experience would surround and immerse you. We wanted it to be an attack on the senses - and I think we succeeded. TO this day, it remains the highest rated, or among the highest rated, attraction in the Universal parks.
