It's been four years since "The Sarah Connor Chronicles" has graced our TV's, but as long as Thor's Zack Stentz and Ashley Miller follow through with the script, we will have another "Terminator" show back on the air in the near future!
The show, which will be produced with the help of Skydance Productions and Annapurna Pictures, will follow the story line of the original 1984 film where it pinpoints a moment of the film, but follows a different path. The show is meant to correspond with the new "Terminator" installment coming into the theaters, and both will contain points in the story where the plot meets.
Zack Stents, writer for this new series as well as T:SCC tweets his co-writer (Ashley Miller) and TheArnoldFans:
We like how these guys are well-versed in the Arnold universe of one-liners and are geeky enough to do this show some cybernetic justice! The show should probably be expected to be ready for airing in July 2015, since this is the anticipated time the movie comes out. Hopefully this will be a fantastic addition to this franchise, which has already earned over a billion dollars! We're pumped but also a little worried because it will air on FOX, the network who Terminated T:SCC and Firefly when they had the slightest dip in ratings. So let's hope for a great show with ratings as high as a Terminator's death count.
UPDATE! Writer Ashley Miller just tweeted us and says "pretty sure it ain't gonna be on FOX though."
