Nothing could have delighted me more than to have my favorite action hero portray my favorite holiday legend, however, In an unfortunate turn of events, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Christmas film will NOT be released this year but rather in 2026. The Man with The Bag, wrapped last year and was speculated to be released for this holiday season however TheArnoldFans has learned 2026 is the year of Santa Claus.

TheArnoldFans has learned that “The Man with The Bag” was planned for a 2025 release originally, however, an insider tells us that after positive notes of unfinished screenings, the production team felt they had something very special here and intend to give the film a more grand orchestra film score with additional special effects. These are the main changes leading to the 2026 release. “It will be worth the wait.”

On the bright side, we are still hopeful Santa Arnold will hand out turkeys and gifts this holiday season at his annual Turkey giveaway and Toy drive at the Hollenbeck youth center in Los Angeles.

2025 wasn’t a good year.  Hardships, political woes, friends losing jobs and sickness of loved ones plagued 2025 so I was really looking forward to Santa Arnold to lift our spirits. But alas. I’ll just chalk up 2025 to being a year of crap and start fresh with 2026 to be the year of hope, health and holiday heroes!  Put those cookies down this year but next year, believe in miracles because Santa is back!
