Arnold Schwarzenegger is on location for filming a new action suspense thriller to be released on Amazon Prime! Deadline reports that Amazon MGM Studios has grabbed worldwide rights to The Kellys, the explosive new thriller starring our favorite action hero alongside Liam Hemsworth. 

Directed by Brad Peyton (the powerhouse behind films that have smashed over $1 BILLION worldwide) and produced by Thunder Road Films, “The Kellys follows Jack Kelly  a disgraced, battle-hardened NYC cop whose wife, Molly, is taken hostage by terrorists inside a fortified old armory.

Peyton has teamed up with Gotham and Once Upon a Time writer Tze Chun on the script, and production is already underway. Get ready for maximum intensity!

This marks Schwarzenegger’s reunion with Amazon MGM after delivering our 2026 Christmas miracle film as Santa in the upcoming The Man with the Bag, directed by Adam Shankman. The legend is also sharpening his sword for a brand new King Conan movie in the works at 20th Century with Mission: Impossible master Christopher McQuarrie at the helm.

Liam Hemsworth, who previously went to war alongside Arnold in The Expendables 2, is coming in hot off starring as Geralt of Rivia in Netflix’s The Witcher and Susannah Grant’s Lonely Planet.

Currently it is unknown if Arnold will be playing the cop, the terrorist villain or Hemsworth’s character’s father, who helps his son on his vengeful quest.
