TL2 & T3: GUARANTEED BLOCKBUSTERS! Tasker to follow the Terminator's B.O. destruction! Reported By: Kevin Illauer Wednesday, January 30, 2002 Cindy Pearlman's, Cin City column featured at Cinecon.com has an interesting Arnold interview where she talks about "True Lies 2" and "Terminator 3"! From Cinecon.com: No lie: The Big Lug is at it again. Arnold Schwarzenegger says that a script was turned in last week for "True Lies II." Details? Schwarzenegger tells this column, "Jim Cameron finished the script a few months ago. But I'm not sure it will shoot this year. I'm going to go away for a long time to do 'Terminator,' and it's not my style to go away again so quickly and do another huge movie. I like to do one movie a year at the most. We'll shoot it next year. We have a good script. There does need to be some changes because it deals with some terrorists act of some sort. But it's pretty much done." Jamie Lee Curtis is also expected to return. Arnie says that rumors that he will run for office in California will not delay "TL2." "Do you honestly think I could run for office while I'm doing 'Terminator 3' and then 'True Lies II.' Be honest. I can't do all of it! I'm only human." Well, not in "T3." I asked Arnold how he gets into Terminator mode. "I'm not saying it's easy. Nothing is easy, but I think I have plenty of time. You read the script and meet with the director and special effects department. You talk about it enough that slowly you become the character again. You go in and study and all that stuff. I didn't have a problem before. I won't have a problem now." Will he say THE LINE? "Yes, I say 'Hasta la vista baby' and 'I'll be back.' There are also some new lines that are going to be great. I don't want to say them now. But fans will be surprised." One wonders if his two sons play Terminator in front of the real thing. "They don't imitate me -- at least not to my face!" Schwarzenegger says, laughing. Meanwhile, his new flick "Collateral Damage" opens next weekend. ---------- |
