THE FIREMAN AVOIDS THE BURN! Behind the scenes of "Collateral Damage"! Reported By: Randy Jennings Tuesday, February 19, 2002 With the big headline "Der Terrornator" plastered on the German "Cinema" magazine, you will find inside a great article with some very detailed stunt pictures taken during the filming period of "Collateral Damage". Not only can you see how Arnold escaped an inferno of flames, but other highlights include Gordy Brewer in the rapids and in the jungle. ![]() Naturally Arnold did some very life-threatening stunts in his new movie, Collateral Damage, however, there are also other ways to create a dangerous looking scene less threatening. As you can see below, a green screen has been used in the back of the door where the flames will later be coming from. First Arnold jumps, glides towards the stairs and finally the fire is put in! ![]() Helped by professionals and divers, Arnold is back in the water. Luckily Arnold didn't have any accidents this time (after "The 6th Day" was almost fatal). That which does not kill you makes you STRONGER! ![]() And last but not least, Arnold is "sticking around" on the set. ![]() If you want to own this magazine for yourself and read the great article, rush to the nearest book store and buy the February edition of Cinema Magazine. ---------- |
