ARNOLD'S FIRST DAY OF T-800 FILMING YESTERDAY! A fan gives us directions to T3 shooting! Reported By: René de Jong Tuesday, April 23, 2002 Yesterday TheArnoldFans.com heard from our favorite WB rep to learn, among many surprises, that April 22nd was "Arnold's first day on the set" for filming! This means that previous Arnold on-set stories were inaccurate. It appears Arnold was only going in for costume fittings and make-up tests earlier but now the real Terminator is BACK! Now WHERE is Arnold filming? Thanks to one Terminator fan at Aint-it-cool-news.com we are informed of the T3 shooting location - close to Los Angeles. If you live in the area you can watch Arnold as the Terminator from across the street! FunnyManJake I thought I'd shout out this little tidbit of T-3 shooting info. I live in Tujunga, right up against the foothills of Los Angeles, about 25 miles south of Magic Mountain. All throughout this coming week (4/22-4/26), the crew for T-3 will be shooting here, on Foothill Blvd, the main thoroughfare that runs from here all the way to Pasadena. They've built a couple of temporary sets here, including a tools and auto parts store, some sort of equipment garage, and a veterinary hospital. Right down the street in our massive K-mart parking lot can be found their army of trailers and equipment trucks, plus vehicles they're going to be using for the film, including an ambulance, a large grungy 4-wheel-drive truck, and two of those new hardtop-convertable Lexus'. I talked to a security guard the other night about it, and he told me that they're going to be doing a lot of 1st unit stuff here. Arnold and whomever plays the female terminator will be present. There's going to be a few explosions going on, a few car chases and crashes, and some other cool stuff. Filming will begin at about 9:00 to 10:00 every night of the week, and spectators are allowed to watch from the Vons parking lot which lies across the street from the set. So there you go. Foothill Blvd. in Tujunga, the cross street for all the action is Mt. Gleason. If you go, tell TheArnoldFans all about your experience and try to take pictures! If you want to know what else TAFs have learned from WB you'll just have to keep coming back to TheArnoldFans.com! ---------- |
