NEW FAN-SUBMITTED "T3" SET PHOTOS! Lauri is back with more Downey pics! Reported By: René de Jong Wednesday, August 7, 2002 Hi TheArnoldFans, I went down to the Downey set on Friday. I shot all kinds of pictures. They have taken part of the fence down. One of the guards told me it's so when they are shooting you will be able to see traffic going by to make it look more realistic. The cars that will be going by will be real people's cars (not extra's) but he did indicate that if photographers became to much trouble they would close it off and use their cars. I was able to take a ton of pictures before they called the cops on us. I was kinda pissed. I don't know what the law regarding this is, but how can they disallow me to take pictures from across the street? Wish I knew the answer to this. There is a side street down the road. I thought I might try to get down there and park off street and just stroll down the road with one of my smaller camera's. The one glass building that had all the banners in front of it was demolished so I'm guessing they already did the crashing into it stuff. The security guards did indicated they were going to be diligent with security the new few days. They have Downey pd backing them up and will confiscated cameras as they see fit. I tried to argue that whatever press that would be generated could only help the movie. he said yeah - but if we get all sort of people out here taking pictures it would get in the way. The cop said I would have to get a permit. I'm wondering how one would go about getting a permit? Thanks to Lauri for the story!
