A RUMOR TO MAKE YOUR ENDO EARS BLEED? Big rumor - T3 gets a composer! Reported By: René de Jong Tuesday, December 3, 2002 According to MusicFromTheMovies.com Marco Beltrami, the composer of the 'Scream' trilogy, has confirmed to the site that he has been given the prestigious scoring assignment of Terminator 3: The Rise of the Machines! Beltrami also told MusicFromTheMovies.com that instead of using material from Brad Fiedel's original Terminator scores, including the near-classic theme, his ambition is to "try all my own material". We wouldn't find it to be the end of the world if another composer stepped in who is the right man for the job - but for a composer to not want to leave in the original theme during the opening credits would be a slap in the face to any Terminator fan. Beltrami should simply elaborate on it without copying the original material because the essence of Brad's song MUST remain to truly bring us all back into the future world of the Terminators!
