Reported By: Randy Jennings Wednesday, July 3, 2002 El Machette's report at LatinoReview.com: Alright now, this next pic is a series of fake store fronts that they are building. What's cool about these facades is that the base of the buildings are rail road cars that are attached with some clever carpentry. They are spending a ton of money on this set alone. They are being so meticulous about everything! Check out the fake air conditioners on top of some of the buildings. This lot used to be the Rockwell plant. This is where they built the original Challenger Space Shuttle before they closed it down. It's been used for other movies as well. It was also used for the World Festival in Spider-Man.
