"T3" SHUTDOWN RUMOR TERMINATED! WB clears up the T3 Production rumor Reported By: Randy Jennings Monday, July 15, 2002 Warner Bros. terminates The National Enquirer's ridiculous T3 production shutdown rumor. ComingSoon.net reports: Last week, a story originated from the National Enquirer stated that the T3: Rise of the Machines production had shut down because of the budget spiraling out of control. The tabloid stated, and even quoted, a source who said that the producers were worried because of a "car chase through central Los Angeles and involves hundreds of extras and location costs. Everybody was sent home while the writer, director and producers try to find a way to do the scene more cheaply." We contacted Warner Bros. on this matter who provided us with an official statement which reassures that the story was completely fabricated... A story about "T3: Rise of the Machines" that was filled with erroneous statements ran in the National Enquirer yesterday. The pertinent facts are as follows: • The production is currently underway, on schedule and on budget. • The footage that has been filmed looks excellent. • Arnold Schwarzenegger and the rest of the cast and crew are currently working and there was no cessation of work on the set at any time. ---------- |
