ALIENS VS. PREDATOR MOVES FORWARD! The Hunt for a Director is over! Reported By: Kevin Illauer Tuesday, July 16, 2002 After years of talk, Twentieth Century Fox has finally hunted down RESIDENT EVIL and EVENT HORIZON director Paul Anderson to write and direct ALIENS VS. PREDATOR. Producers for both series, John Davis, David Giler, Lawrence Gordon, Walter Hill and Joel Silver among them have decided Anderson is the right man for the job. According to VARIETY, the story will center on a human scientist on a distant planet producing an alien in the hopes of luring the PREDATOR hunters to the planet. Though we finally get to see both species paired up for a fight to the death, the sad fact is we will most likely not hear of The OAK'S character - "Dutch" to return. Hopefully we may get a flashback or cameo in this long awaited sci-fi epic! TheArnoldFans believes if Dutch were back - it would be TOO EASY to figure out who would win the ultimate battle. ---------- |
