NO "TRUE LIES 2" FOR CAMERON! Cameron: no longer king of cinema? Reported By: René de Jong Monday, November 18, 2002 We've already known for years "True Lies" director James Cameron wouldn't be returning to direct the sequel but now it appears he also has no interest to be involved in any way. We all thought Cameron would at least produce True Lies 2 but from what we hear at Comingsoon.net, the once biggest sci-fi director has morphed away from this genre. However, this doesn't mean an equally talented or more ballsy director can step in and fill his shoes. Look at T3, from what we have heard and seen so far, Mostow is surpassing everyone's expectations and bringing new life into "Rise of the Machines!" True Lies 2 doesn't have to be dead as long as other great directors like John Woo, Milius and Mostow are out there. What will be Arnold's next movie? That was another story... ---------- |
