James Coburn, best known around the world for his early film roles as villains and from the movie The Magnificent Seven, died yesterday. To us Arnold fans we know him best as his good guy role - Arnold's boss in Eraser. At age 74, Coburn died of a heart attack while listening to music with his family at home.

Coburn had recently completed two films, the just-released "The Man From Elysian Fields" and "American Gun," which Elkins said should be released soon. In the latter, Coburn's character travels the country in search of his daughter's killer.

Coburn was pronounced dead at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Hollywood has lost a magnificent legend. In tribute, let us all watch "Eraser" tonight and remember the man who can never be erased from Hollywood's past.
