"PEOPLE" READY FOR "T3" DVD! New DVD info for November's T3! Reported By: TheARNOLDFANS.com Staff Monday, August 18, 2003 Before we tell you about some additional info for the Terminator 3 DVD, we want to be sure you all get the chance to head to the bookstore for a couple of new magazines. Peek inside Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver's home life as the pair prepares for his run for governor of California in this week's PEOPLE magazine. Also pick up the new Cigar Aficionado magazine with a BIG Arnold interview. Now the DVD (Region 1): As reported earlier, the region 1 "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" is set for that November 11th release date and it will be a loaded two-disc DVD. We'll get that Schwarzenegger-recorded commentary for the DVD along with a commentary by director Jonathan Mostow, new footage, an on-set gag reel, four visual effects labs that allow viewers to build their own action scene, the HBO "First Look" featurette, a SkyNet personnel/weapons database, storyboards and a costume/production design gallery. * English Dolby Digital 5.1 Track * French Dolby Digital 5.1 Track * Commentaries with Director, Schwarzenegger, Stahl, Danes and Loken * Introduction by Arnold Schwarzenegger * Create Your Own Action Scene Feature * The Making Of The Video Game * Terminator Timeline * Various Deleted Scenes * HBO First Look Featurette * On Set Gag Reel * SkyNet Personnel & Weapons Database * Storyboard Gallery * Production Design Gallery * Poster Gallery * Toys In Action Feature * Video Game Trailer * Terminator 3 Trailer (International) * Terminator 3 Trailer (Alternate) * DVD-ROM Features * Eastereggs While talking to someone close to the DVD production, TheArnoldFans learned they may not call this first version the "Special Edition" although there will be enough material where you'd think for sure it was one. They may come out with a super Special Edition a year later with twice the goods. This was still being discussed and no plans were set. The last we heard, There was "no fate." DVD (Region 4): Columbia have confirmed a release date of December 3rd for the R4 edition of Terminator 3 Rise of the Machines as well as a few early details. With the p romise of an anamorphically enhanced widescreen transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack, the extras will include : a cast and crew commentary, 3 separate featurettes on the making of the film, the much-discussed 'deleted scenes', a blooper-reel and more to be announced. RRP is expected to be around the $45 mark, perhaps hinting at this being a single-disc edition. More details will be confirmed when we have official confirmation of the specs. ----------
