NEW TERMINATOR DVD BOX SET IS TERMINATED! No more T1 & T2 delux DVD box set! Reported By: Randy Jennings Thursday, February 6, 2003 TheArnoldFans.com was the first to report last year on the future arrival of MGM's T1 and T2 box set DVD re-release. We warned you it was meant to be even better with more discs and more material but we have learned today that these plans are now cancelled. Speaking with our MGM contact we learned the deal with Artisan didn't go through so each company decided to put out their own re-release. She believes both re-releases will contain "no extra special features from the previous releases." Perhaps these will only be new packaging but she also believes the new artwork for Artisan's T2 found at IGN Filmforce is not the final artwork to be released in June. TheArnoldFans' Kailem writes in: Hey guys, this new info about the new dvd release of T2 has only just hit the net, so of course I'm bringing it here first. There's no word on any special features, but the new release is now officially known as "T2: Extreme Edition".
