TAFs EXCLUSIVE: LONG LIVE "KING CONAN"! "King Conan" to shoot in November? Reported By: TheARNOLDFANS.com Staff Friday, January 31, 2003 An anonymous source tells TheArnoldFans that our petition to keep Milius and Schwarzenegger attached to King Conan is reaching high, past Crom and all the way up to The Matrix's Wachowski brothers. The Wachowskis, Andy and Larry, have been longtime supporters of Milius' King Conan project and were in long-ago talks to produce this bloody barbarian epic. However, last we reported, Andy and Larry felt they were just too busy and their presence from Conan should be skipped. Now, In a turn of events and possible nods from the Gods, our prayers may have been answered. With the Matrix sequels nearly ready for wraps, we hear Andy and Larry are back on board and are committed to King Conan once again! Apparently The Wachowskis had a long recent talk with John Milius and with the Wachowskis acknowledging TheArnoldFans.com petition and show of fan support - Warner Bros, The Wachowskis and Milius are all back on board! John Milius is currently looking into Turkey and Rome locations for shooting major battle scenes of King Conan: Crown of Iron! We also hear the Wachowskis have watched The Lord of The Rings movies, and although they are big admirers, they know how they would envision their giant-scale battles even better in King Conan. Although all of these big parties are accountable and ready to begin pre-production in August or November of this year, there still remains one party we have not heard from: Arnold Schwarzenegger himself. Would Arnold dare defy our nearly 10,000 signatures of fans who are demanding "King Conan" to be his next film project? Let's pray to Crom and ask Arnold very politely (or beg) that King Conan is next! Please Arnold, push back all your other film projects and listen to your fans on this one! Trust us, your fans will throw the biggest Arnold celebration in your honor and the mayor will declare it CONAN DAY and give you the sword to the city! Let's keep the petition going strong!
