Although Arnold Schwarzenegger is out of the U.S. at the moment, celebrating the premiere of 'Terminator 3' for the troops and also in Tokyo (see images below), the U.S. fans are celebrating the official release date of the best action movie this Summer has to offer.

Many fans emailed us with their opinions. Aside from one fan complaining about a single Endoskeleton arm theory, so far no one emailed with negative movie reviews. Let's hope this trend continues!

Collin Spiller:
"I have just returned home from the special 8:30 PM showing of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines and am still in awe. Jonathon Mostow stayed true to the universe created by James Cameron yet simultaneously made his own statement onto the Terminator genre. The screen writing team effectively avoided the standard sequel pit falls by choosing humor at appropriate intervals rather than drawn out soliloquies or special effects sequences. Arnold Schwarzennegger handed down by far his greatest acting performance while new comers Nick Stahl and Clair Danes add a fresh new change to the cast of characters. Everyone from cast to crew earned their pay on this film by weaving classic storytelling with the elements that Arnold fans demand in a Schwarzennegger film. All involved thankfully realized the danger of merely building a film around computer generated images and throwing a rushed screenplay onto the fire. Terminator 3 relied on the study of human characteristics, attributes, and emotions, choosing correctly to use special effects for what they are, a tool. As I prepare to journey to my local theater to once again embark upon this fluid journey of eye opening dimensions, I thank the cast and crew of Terminator 3: Rise of the machines for furthering the classic tale of human potential vs. our "nature to destroy ourselves."

Zac Atkinson:
"Hey, TAFs, what's up, I'm a huge Arnold fan and go to your site everyday, My name is Zac and live in Vancouver Canada, I saw the sneak preview of T3 tonight, and must say IT WAS ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS I MAY SEE IT A FEW MORE TIMES, I cant describe how utterly amazed I was I think Mostow pulled of a huge success..."

John:
"Hey, just saw T3, and I've got to say, awesome!!!! Non stop action, and the terminatrix is awesomely hot! The only thing that kind of threw me was the ending.... Just thought I'd give my 2 cents, Arnold is friggin huge again!"

Mark B.:
"Saw T3 and LOVED IT! I just LOVED IT!!! Will see it again and again! Read your AWESOME 9 steps to making it a monster smash. About to read your (and Rene's) reviews! Yes, you are right and I have talked MANY into seeing the film. I even walked into a drug store and told them T3 was awesome before I even saw it. I told someone I saw it with to do me a favor, spread the word it is the best summer film. Great plan man!"

David:
"I am a longtime reader of the site, and I've been a huge fan of Arnold ever since I was a kid and saw T2: Judgment Day in theatres. I had the opportunity to see the latest T film yesterday at a screening for the Navy at Patuxent River Naval Air Station.

Here's a piece of his review ---

The screenplay is definitely not "milking the cash cow". This is a completely legitimate extension of the series. There was more to tell, and this film tells it well. It expands our knowledge on the characters and events, but also manages to throw in tons of action and suspense. Great work!

Speaking of action, this film is in the water and The Matrix Reloaded is on the beach. This film had some of the best action ever put to film. Intense, elaborate, and exciting. The film will make your heart race. Action fans will come to see this one again and again. My personal favorite action sequence was the stuff in Robert Brewster's military facility. The T-1's and MHK's are both really bad-ass and make for a thrilling ride.

A special note, if you go in expecting the Terminator WAR film, you'll come out still waiting. This movie is not "in the trenches" with Hunter Killers circling above, this truly is THE RISE OF THE MACHINES. An exciting, elaborate, intelligent, and entertaining film that details the crucial moments as the SkyNet's grip tightens. Get ready for the RIDE OF YOUR LIFE! The best Terminator film and the best film of the year thus far!
10/10"

TAFs' writer Chad has his own plan on how he will schedule this historic date!
What to do on the day Terminator 3 Opens
First of all, arrange to take the day off.

Start the day off with a 6:30 a.m. workout.  Focus heavy on chest and arms.
Begin with 5 sets of 5 reps each on the bench press, and then move to dumbbell presses. Next, do six or eight sets of alternating dumbbell curls and 5 sets of straight bar curls.  Go heavy on the weights.  Then 5 sets of tricep pulldowns with the cable machine and 5 sets of overhead tricep raises.  After 150 crunches youšre ready for the treadmill.  Run or stair climb for 30 minutes and hit the shower, because youšve got a HUGE day ahead of you!

9 am Meet your buddies for breakfast at a greasy spoon not far from the theater.  Wear form fitting t-shirts that show off you T3 pump!

11 am View the opening showing of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, just so you can say you saw the FIRST showing on opening day.  I realize the tickets arenšt full price, but Œyoušll be backš for a full price viewing (to boost ticket sales) that evening!

1 pm Go out to lunch with your same buddies and discuss how awesome the film was.  Speak loudly in the restaurant so that people at other tables can hear you talking about the most awesome movie youšve seen in years and how GREAT Arnold looked and the amazing acting by Nick Stahl, etc.  Your conversation will convince some patrons of the restaurant to go see the movie!

3 pm Run home and write an awesome review to be posted on the Arnold forums for TAFs.

5 pm Do a few sets of pushups before leaving to see Terminator 3 again, this time paying full price in order to boost ticket sales.

7 pm Go out to a late dinner (at a different restaurant) with some buddies (or all by yourself) and talk loudly about how incredible the film was and why you just HAD to see it twice in one day and how youšll probably go again this weekend!  (If you're alone, you may want to reconsider the "talk loudly" part.)

8:30 pm Go home and spend all night on TAFs website in appreciation for all the awesome coverage and build up to this dream-come-true film, which many of us thought would never happen, but FINALLY DID!

11 pm Get some sleep and think of some clever ways to drop the hint about T3 tomorrow at work without letting your boss find out you took the day off to go to the movies.

IT IS TIME!
