Chad "TheStorm" Campbell writes TheArnoldFans about the all new "Conan" game he played at this year's "E3" video game convention. Although the game is not allowed to legally use Arnold's likeness, he says that it still nearly fooled him. If he looks like Arnold and he swings an ax like Arnold... it must be a game worthy of all you barbarians!

Today, while in the TDK section wishing I was in the T3 booth. I noticed something. A game called Conan, and I played it while the guy talked to me. It was fun, the graphics were still in beta and not the best. But its a third person adventure game set in the Conan universe based off of the comic books, not the movie, though Conan looked a lot like Arnold while they denied it but what ever. Just wanted you guys to know first that I saw that and played it, it will be on all consoles and PC. So get ready to play as Conan!

Now here is what I played: It was in a bunch of hall ways and many enemies dressed weirdly were attacking me. I ran around with the Ax in these halls and rolling and swiping and doing a whole slew of cool moves. The graphics were still in beta so they still need more textures and the guy said it will have really cool lighting. So the final product will look pretty cool. The weapons were awesome and being Conan was cool too. Then I remember walking out into a big arena of some sort and walking around a bit, but then others wanted to play and I had to get going. But from what I got, pretty good sound, the graphics will be pretty good when done and completed. The Color Platte was a lot of browns in the level I played dark the arena was cool. The moves were cool to do and fun to slash enemies.

This will be a fun game for any Conan fan as well as some people who like action. This game may not raise the bar but finally it will delve us deep into the mythos of Conan. I heard no voice acting yet or anything so I don't know how the Conan character will be portrayed. But keep your eyes out for this one it will be good to add to your collection.


Conan's story takes place after the barbarian has ascended the throne of Sumeria. After a long voyage, Conan returns to his kingdom to find that the entire land has been taken over by the evil vulture cult. We'll give you three guesses as to what happens next.
