SLY AND THE PREDATOR FIGHT BACK! Stallone cautions the Governator! Reported By: TheARNOLDFANS.com Staff Monday, September 1, 2003 '80's action hero Sylvester Stallone had a few words of wisdom for Arnold about his run at Governor of California. "I think it's very dangerous waters," the co-star of "Spy Kids 3", told Reuters in Venice during the 60th film festival. "In that particular field you can't yell 'action' and 'cut' and 'take two' and 'take three'. It's real." Reuters: Schwarzenegger shocked California earlier this month when he announced on "The Tonight Show" that he would run for governor. Sending a message to current Governor Gray Davis, who faces a likely recall, the star of the "Terminator" films said: "Do your job for the people, and do it well -- otherwise, you are hasta la vista, baby." Schwarzenegger hit the campaign trail outside Southern California for the first time last week, seeking votes in the stronghold of his chief rival. Stallone, who was in town to promote his latest movie "Spy Kids 3", said he would rather battle it out on the silver screen. "I personally think actors should remain actors, but I know he's always had blind ambition for that, so maybe it'll work out great for him." Stallone added that he was getting a kick out of making kids' movies, but for those fans more keen on his action flicks, Stallone borrowed a phrase from Arnie: "I'll be back". ![]() Speaking of a big name from the '80's, we have PREDATOR news. Thanks to A.B. King, we have learned that Cinescape tells fans that the Predator Soundtrack will finally officially be released! Cinescape: Big news for film music fans is the first ever, legitimate release of the oft-requested soundtrack to PREDATOR (VCL 0803 1022), John McTiernan's 1987 Arnold Schwarzenegger Rambo-Meets-Alien monster thriller. The music never garnered a soundtrack release of its own, except for an uneven bootleg in 1997. (1990's sequel, PREDATOR 2, scored by the same composer, did generate a soundtrack on Varese Sarabande, still available). Now, Varese has issued a fine release of the first score as part of the company's August limited edition CD club releases. Click HERE for the complete article! ----------
