To be, or not to be...taken seriously? California-based rock group ArnoCorps are sticking to their guns and continuing to focus on sharing grand stories, such as Predator, Running Man and Commando, through their patented Austrian Action Adventure Audio Assault performances. This comes as news since the band had initially expressed some interest in running for California Governor - all six members running on the same "ArnoPlatform".

The ArnoPlatform is not to be confused with the efforts of Arnold Schwarzenegger or his campaign. Main proposals included increased off-road privileges for Humvee owners to reduce traffic congestion, legalization of cigar smoking in California restaurants and bars, instituting bodybuilding programs in schools starting with 1st grade, legalization of steroids, and overhauling the public transportation system by replacing busses and trains with helicopters. These very ballsy suggestions will never make it past the concept stage, however, as the band has officially decided not to run.

TAFs had a chance to talk with ArnoCorps last Friday night at their performance in San Francisco where they held an impromptu press conference, as the local NBC affiliate was also there for a story on the band.

"We feel the politics should be left to politicians, and spreading the action adventure lifestyle should be left to Austrian rock heroes like ourselves. The other bands here in California have been fiddling, fondling, and failing to provide an adequate pump for the people." says ArnoCorps vocalist Holzfeuer.

Bassist Toten Adler added, "We want to make sure that fans will continue to feel the pump that we've been giving them for the past 3 years here in California. We want them to feel the way we do all the time. It's like having an orgasm!".

TAFs asked what the band thought of Arnold Schwarzenegger's decision to enter the world of politics. "If he wins, we're hoping he will give tax breaks to fellow Austrian immigrants like ourselves. Wouldn't that be fantastic? Other than that, it has no impact on us. We have many more stories to tell, believe me. Maybe now people will stop confusing his movies with our songs. We sing of lore and mythology and all these kinds of things that has been passed down for generations!"
