NEW BOOK GIVES 100s OF NEW ARNO PHOTOS? Arnold's first writes tell-all book! Reported By: TheARNOLDFANS.com Staff Tuesday, September 9, 2003 Arnold's first girlfriend, Barbara Outland Baker, is seeking to publish a memoir on their 1970's relationship. In this proposed book, she plans to reveal dozens of great new Schwarzenegger photographs no one has ever seen. Barbara, an English professor, met the then Mr. Universe in 1969 and became his first real girlfriend until they split up in 1974. "Surviving Arnold" is the working title but it will mention plenty of great personal qualities about The Oak. "I'm trying to sell it as an insider's account of Mr. Schwarzenegger's early years," said book agent Paul Levine. "She's been writing it for years, but obviously now is an opportune time to try to sell it." "There are lots of insights and never-before-told things about Arnold and there are over 100 never-before published photographs of Arnold during that time." After meeting at a Santa Monica restaurant where Outland was working as a waitress while a college student, the two eventually moved in together. Book agent Levine said he had just started to shop the book around in recent days and had not yet found a publisher. ----------
