TAFs CELEBRATES AT ARNOLD RALLY! TAFs joins Arnold for rally! Reported By: Randy Jennings Tuesday, September 30, 2003 On Sunday, September 28th, Arnold Schwarzenegger landed in Monterey, CA for a big "Bring California Back Rally"! At the Monterey Jet Center at 2:00pm, Schwarzenegger took the stage to the ultimate song to represent Arnold's Gray Davis TERMINATION: "We're not Going to Take it Anymore" by Twisted Sister. Yes, in fact, standing in a airport hanger with this metal music blasting, groupies on shoulders, signs waving and wild pushing enthusiasm - this did feel much more like a concert and we all got to hear Arnold sing words of wisdom! The Austrian Oak stood proud in front of hundreds of adoring movie and political fans - all chanting his name and he looked and felt "fantastic"! People carried rally signs, homemade signs and "Last Action Hero" action figures. ![]() ![]() Arnold looked into the crowd as he saw his fans and it may have been a happy surprise to him to see a familiar face: me. A smirk of acknowledgement greeted me as he saw me finally fully support his campaign for the first time. I gave him the thumbs up. ![]() Although at one time I could have broke down in tears at the thought that Arnold would be leaving movies for YEARS, I have now finally embraced Arnold's new goals. I am ready to move on. Although I still feel the pain of his saddened worldwide fans through my daily emails, and although I am crushed not to have certain epic movies released, I most certainly have this statement to make: "I SUPPORT Arnold for Governor of California." As you know, I was not always pulling for Governor Arnold since it would mean the end to T4 and King Conan, but I must say, after the Oprah show and after his Sacramento debate, Quato opened my mind and Arnold opened my eyes with his passion. Who can deny Arnold of one of his greatest roles ever? In Monterey, Arnold spoke to the crowd for over 15 minutes and we were all convinced we were looking at our next Governor. No one had a doubt. Even Arnold knows it. At the end Twisted Sister, Arnold's campaign theme, came blasting back on and The Oak was now greeting fans. You should have seen how truly happy he is once again high-fiving, shaking hands and throwing out T-shirts. I thought he was going to go crazy and do a stage-dive he was so excited! Go Arno, GO! Arnold came up to me and held my hand. We raised hands victoriously high into the air. I gave him my blessing and at last we were back!
It is time we all try to embrace a new Arnold. Arnold IS going to win this election and no poll or petition will get Schwarzenegger to change his mind now. An Austrian immigrant turned bodybuilding champion turned movie star turned Governor. What's next? Master of the Universe? I would not be surprised. I know many future Arnold movies are now dead to us. Arnold will be tied-up for at least three years until he can do more movies. In the meantime we can expect The Rock to fill some action shoes. Possibly in a few years the two heavyweights may team together for "King Conan"? Who knows, the future is not set. For this term, I support Arnold. But should he run again in 2006 and kill the chances and hopes of his worldwide fans for a film "Comeback"... we say: "TO HELL WITH YOU!" Arnold is certainly the BEST candidate this election. He will fix California and he will BE BACK to movies again! I had some closure the other day that I think might help many of you ease the pain that there will not be an Arnold movie for years. Personally, what worked for me was I saw T3 - one last time. I suggest go your LAST TIME alone. Bring no one. Treat yourself and be alone with your thoughts. Sit back and acknowledge that this viewing of T3 is the final full-length Arnold movie for years to come. Know how good the film is and know what Arnold gave to us. It may sound sad but it helped me. On our way out of the airport hanger, we were all handed bumper stickers and yard signs. Later that day my house looked like Join Arnold headquarters!
