First comes the bad news! TheArnoldFans.com just received some new exclusive information regarding A&E's upcoming biopic titled "See Arnold Run"! From what we are told, this project may be turning ugly and will not show Arnold in the most positive light. Two people associated with A&E step forward with some discouraging news:

Source 1: "I did meet with their XXXXXX late last year after I worked for A&E on there promotion of "The Biography of the Year" which was later announced as Arnold, as biography of the year. In the end it comes down to their CEO, who picks a producer based on whether they like or don't like a character such as Arnold. Suffices to say their production has likely taken a negative slant."

Source 2: "Yes, I've been following he movie. Since the summer. They haven't been doing a good job of promoting it or reflecting Arnold in a good light."

A New York based trade article by TV Tidbits reported the following.

Son of the Beach actor to portray Schwarzenegger in A&E movie Friday, July 2, 2004

Apparently, the folks at the relatively highbrow A&E Network have been checking out the distinctly lowbrow FX sitcom Son of the Beach. A&E announced earlier this week that it has cast one of that show's stars, Roland Kickinger, as a young Arnold Schwarzenegger in a planned TV movie. On Son of the Beach, which ran from 2000 to 2002, Kickinger played Chip Rommel, a sweet-hearted, dimwitted German lifeguard. The character was a thinly veiled parody of Schwarzenegger from his bodybuilding days.

Source 1: As a supporter of Arnold I maintain a watchful eye for slants against him in the media. I like your fan site the best and feel it represents Arnold in a way he would be proud. I will wait until their piece airs to render final judgment."

And now the Good news! Shannon writes us to shed more light on possible upcoming Arnold movies!

Shannon:
"Randy, I heard that interview with Tom Arnold actually. He didn't say much at all really, it was mainly about sports, but yeah, he did say Arnold told him time and time again that he's definitely not finished with films, before rolling off a few films he wants to do - total recall 2, T4 and the True Lies sequel - which seems to get Arnold wet every time he talks about it. (Can't blame him I suppose....Soul Plane was a joke)."

Last but not least, ABKing writes in to tell us that Arnold kicked Sly's butt!

ABKing: "Looks like Arnie's one man army JOHN MATRIX just beat out Stallone's JOHN RAMBO in a "BATTLE OF THE MOVIE SOLDIERS" poll. Do I smell COMMANDO II in the works? I got this from the STALLONEZONE website who got the poll from MAXIM MAGAZINE:

ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER has beaten STALLONE in a men's magazine battle to find the best movie soldier.

The California Governor's COLONEL JOHN MATRIX character in 1985's COMMANDO beat Stallone's JOHN RAMBO in MAXIM magazine's Cinema Soldier Showdown poll."
