(2)In an attempt to clamp down on file sharing, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has signed into law - a bill that requires those trading music, movies, or other copyrighted files to provide their e-mail address along with the files. Residents of California who fail to comply with the new law could be found guilty of a misdemeanor” punishable by a fine of up to $2500 and/or up to one year in prison.
