This year Arnold was very generous with passing out gifts for this holiday season. We'll get to that more in a second.
First, let us say we all hope you all had a great holiday season and we congratulate all you winners of our annual
Christmas prize contest! Winners, who were notified by email, were thrilled with Arnold movie-related merchandise! Many
of the winners tell us they will take pictures of themselves with their prizes and send them in to us. We would be
thrilled to display your happy faces!
Other fans just wanted to write in and wish us a Merry Christmas! You are all to kind!
Zeller, a loyal Arnold fan of China writes:
Thanks a lot for you and you guys' dedication. Apparently, TheArnoldFans.com is the best website
about Arnold. In my deep heart, it's a family for the Arnold fans all over the world. Arnold is my mentor, hero and father
of my soul. I visit your site each time I access Internet, so many happiness I gained from this fantastic site!
Martin says:
Merry xmas to you too man I can smell the Californian stogie your smoking from over hear man:) Wishing
you and the Arnold fans the biggest ever year in 2005 hopefully with me on board:) Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Finally, how did the Austrian Oak prepare for the holidays you ask? Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife, Maria Shriver gave
soldiers serving in the Middle East hot spots a special gift: prepaid phone service to contact their loved ones!
California National Guard members stationed in Afghanistan, Kuwait and Iraq are getting up to 66 minutes of free phone time,
paid for by contributions from private citizens and corporations and organized by the California State Alliance, the Office of
the First Lady and the Army & Air Force Exchange Service.
"I am so pleased to send our support and gratitude to our service men and women," Shriver said in a statement. "I speak on behalf
of all Californians when I say how honored we are by all your remarkable acts of courage and your bravery as you defend our nation."
The First Lady's office said that as many as 20,000 soldiers could take advantage of the calls, which cost about $15 each, making
the overall expense of the program close to $300,000.
