OSCARS, ORANGES & RAZZIES! T3 and Stallone nominations! Reported By: TheARNOLDFANS.com Staff Wednesday, January 28, 2004 A couple of months back, we reported that "Terminator 3" was submitted by WB to be considered to be nominated for a visual effects Oscar by the Academy of Motion Pictures. There were about 6 or 7 films that were submitted but only 3 made the FINAL cut. T3 was NOT one of them. VISUAL EFFECTS THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RETURN OF THE KING MASTER AND COMMANDER: THE FAR SIDE OF THE WORLD PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: THE CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL Oh well, it's not like it would have won over LOTR: Return of the King. The GOOD news is that Terminator 3 has been nominated for the Orange Film of The Year at this years BAFTA's. Ten of the biggest grossing films of the year are in the shortlist. The Orange Film Of The Year is the only award to be voted for by the public and the film with the most votes before the voting deadline (Feb 13th) will receive the award. Vote by clicking HERE! Also for all those who vote, they stand a chance of winning a pair of tickets to the event themselves, which is a fantastic prize. They will spend the evening mingling with the cream of Hollywood and walk down the famous red carpet on February 15th. Last year Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers won the award thanks to online voting. In other good news, T3 was not nominated for A Razzie. The Ben Affleck-Jennifer Lopez box office disaster "Gigli" snared a leading nine Razzie nominations from the Golden Raspberry Foundation Monday including Worst Picture, Worst Actor, Worst Actress and Worst Screen Couple. Perennial Razzie nominee Sylvester Stallone is up for Worst Supporting Actor for "Spy Kids 3D: Game Over." According to the foundation, Stallone has a record 30 Razzie nominations and nine wins, including Worst Actor of the 20th Century. ----------
