Arnold Schwarzenegger flexes his arm to pump up morale Friday, March 12, 2004, for about 700 Army National Guard troops preparing to deploy to Iraq, during a visit to the National Training Center in Fort Irwin, Calif. Schwarzenegger's appearance came as members of the National Guard's 81st Separate Armor Brigade was gearing up to head to Iraq, where they will conduct security operations, serve as military police and provide humanitarian assistance.

On Wednesday, The Oak accepted a Maverick Spirit Award at the Cinequest San Jose Film Festival. Arnold was there to accept an award and do a Q&A session with his fans.

Jeff Simons informs of of another recent and unfortunate death to someone Arnold worked with in Eraser. Joe Viterelli, the stocky actor whose pug-face helped him land a series of roles as lovable mugs in mob flicks that included "Analyze This" and "Eraser" has died. He was 66.

A.B. King tells us that MOVIEHOLE talked to "Gothika" director Mathieu Kassovitz who revealed he's interested in directing the long-awaited "I Am Legend" which at one time had Arnold to star.

Kassovitz says if he does make it it'll be without Arnold Schwarzenegger - who was attached to the film a couple of years back. "We are seeing a lot of different people for it. Unfortunately Arnold can't do it, because he's Governor, but he would have been great. A lot of projects in Hollywood get thrown about and never see the sun so here's hoping this one does happen".

And finally, our ultra successful ARNOLD FANS Collector Site has been updated once again! This time Victor van der Put, from Terminator Files, shares his collection! Come on in to his collection of detailed files HERE!
