Mark Famiglietti, male TX and Kate's fiancée from Terminator 3, recently told TheArnoldFans about his inspiration for playing the TX, casting and more!

Famiglietti on TAFs:
"I checked theArnoldFans web site yesterday, and I thought it was really great. It's fun, it's informational. Your interview with Mario and Andy was awesome."

Famiglietti on T3 casting:
"As far as being the TX, of course the casting process for myself happened over about a 3 month time frame. It was not like a normal audition where one reads pages from a script, we all had to go in and do monologues. And of course at this point everyone was reading for John Connor, none of the actors even knew there was a Scott/TX role because the script was so hush hush. So I went in, threw the monologue on tape and it was then sent to Mostow. About a month later I heard, that I wasn't right for JC, but that I'd be going back for this other role."

Famiglietti on top secret T3 script:
"When they sent the material, which arrived on top secret red paper so it couldn't even be photocopied, I saw that being the TX was part of it."

Famiglietti on TX inspiration:
"I sort of re watched the first 2 movies to refresh myself with them. And I tried to really zero in on what Robert Patrick did in the second. Because actually that was the audition scene. Where in T2 Robert Patrick asks if JC is home at the front door of his parents house. Then I did a lot of finite tuning by looking in the mirror as I would say my lines. I tried to drain myself of emotion or inflection. I clenched my jaw tight so my chin would protrude slightly, and I flexed the muscles around my eyes to tighten my eyelids, trying to make it seem as if my eyes were narrow and cold. I guess that's pretty much it in a nut shell."

Famiglietti on relationships:
"It was a lot of fun to play. Although my girlfriend gets tired of it, when we get in a squabble and put on "the face" she's like "Mark stop, don't do your Terminator face!"

Famiglietti on T3.5:
"Of course, I'd love to be involved. The whole experience was awesome!"

Famiglietti on deleted scenes:
"There wasn't a death scene cut per say. We did shoot some stuff where after the death scene I was lying there bloody, and then Kristana and I walked passed each other and that was going to potentially be a morphing moment. But those shots, and even the death scene as it turned out, were all sort of dependant on what went on in the editing room. Because at the end of the day it was really between Mostow and the ILM guys as to what their vision was with the special effects. They possibilities are endless with what they can create and add today."
