Arnold fan Geoff tells us that IGN FilmForce reports "King Conan: Crown of Iron" writer-director John Milius is currently scouting locations!

IGN FilmForce:
Milius is currently in Turkey where he has secured full funding for King Conan. If that's the case, that would mean Warner Brothers would only have to distribute the film rather than finance it. We were also advised that Milius is currently scouting locations in Turkey with some of Conan's private financiers. When filming might begin remains unclear but at least the money is now in place.

Furthermore, Arnold Schwarzenegger may still be involved with the project. Everything depends, however, on whether the Governator runs for re-election but the door for his return is apparently still open.

Arnold fan Laris wants John Milius to consider filming in Bosnia.

"Dear Randy, I've heard about all the stuff going on regarding the efforts to make the third Conan movie.

Is there a better place to consider for shooting this movie than Bosnia! One of our local writers, Miljenko Jergovic, even made a novel called "This is where Conan lives" referring to our mountainous, geographically very diverse Bosnia, a perfect scenery for epic tale of Conan. On top of this imagine the context, all the existential struggle that people had here fighting for survival against physical extinction and now the effort to make the country normal again.. It matches perfectly to Conan's existentialism!

I appreciate a lot all the effort you make in bringing this movie about and I would be thankful for assistance in bringing this proposal further to Milius and Arnold."
