Now that the Terminator took so many boots from his victims, he is mighty proud of his vast shoe collection. Schwarzenegger he has his gold-plated footwear protected by armed guards at his weekday suite at California's Sacramento Hyatt Regency hotel.

The TERMINATOR star has more than 100 boots at his Los Angeles home, and is nicknamed IMELDA MARCUS by his wife, MARIA SHRIVER, in honor of the former First Lady of the Philippines who owned over 2,000 pairs of footwear during her husband's presidency (1965-86).

But Arnold refuses to leave his shoes without someone to protect them, and insists: "It's my rule."
