WestWorld is back and rumor has it that Arnold is not completely out of the picture. There's always a small chance
that this Oak project will someday still happen.
This project was shelved a couple of years ago when Arnold Schwarzenegger decided to run for Gov, but now Jerry
Weintraub's remake of "Westworld" is now a go, with "The Cell" director Tarsem set to helm.
Could the sci-fi pic be the vehicle the Governator uses to come home to Hollywood? TheArnoldFans says no and That
True Lies 2 would be his big comeback picture. Better yet, Inglorious Bastards. However, Westworld could still be
be possible small role for the Oak.
The Austrian Oak wasn't set to play the Yul Brynner role of the robotic gunfighter who turns an Old West vacation
theme park into a nightmare, but one of the park guests.
Schwarzenegger's reps insist he's not involved with the project at this point. But it's certainly not a given that
he won't be in "Westworld" should he decide not to seek re-election in next year's election or should he lose the
race. His current terms ends in January 2007.
Weintraub's remake for Warner Bros. Pictures hasn't seen signs of new life until now, with Tarsem's hire.
