Old "I am Legend" Project Gets a Director!
"I am Legend" and PJ Harvey News!

Even though Arnold has been out of the "I am Legend" project for a decade, this film is now beginning pre-production and has landed a director at last!

Governor Ben Richards from the boards writes:

Hi guys... If you head over to comingsoon.net you will see that "I Am Legend" is gearing towards production again, with Francis Lawrence (Constantine) at the helm.

Personally, I think this is a great marriage between material and Director. Constantine was great for the first two thirds, and this guy has a great visual flair, plus has demonstrated he can do the post apocalyptic thing well. The big, Oak-sized question is....who will play the lead? Come on - we must see Arnold in this iconic role, his increased years since he was originally attached will only make the film more affecting! Finally, we could get the return we all were expecting in 1999. Schwarzenegger is Neville, the last man on Earth in I AM LEGEND!

Hi guys, Polly's [PJ Harvey¹s] been spending quite a lot of time in the US and recently appeared on American TV on the Jay Leno show. She took the opportunity to get some advice from fellow guest Hollywood superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger: "He was very polite. He liked the music. I don't think he'd ever heard of me before but I think he enjoyed the performance especially my Elvis suit which I wore for the occasion.
