Arnold fan Gary Hance, "Jericho Cain" from the message board, is BACK from his trip from Las Angeles, California: home of The Oak!

Gary:
Dear TAFs,
My partner and I have just returned from a vacation to Hollywood and I'd like to share with you some things we did and saw while on our travels. Our first Arnold finding was Arnolds star on the "Hollywood Walk of Fame". The star is located outside "The Guinness World Records Exhibition".

We then carried on along Hollywood Boulevard and found Arnolds Hand and footprints left outside "The Mann's Chinese Theater"

Next we visited Universal Studios and went to Terminator 2 3D. It's an awesome show and defiantly a must see.

We then visited Arnold's restaurant "Schatzi on Main". We went to the monthly cigar night. Due to Arnold's duties now it was very unlikely he would attend but we went along for the experience anyway.

We arrived at the restaurant at 8:30pm and were taken to our table. As we sat down our host explained that Arnold had rung at 7:30 pm and confirmed he would be attending the evening, well as you can expect my partner (Beci) and I was smiling ear to ear. Due to Arnold attending we were told that the meal (all 6 courses of it) would be served when Arnold arrived, so we waited patiently and had a few drinks.

After only a short while Arnold arrived, he came into the restaurant and went straight to his table. The meal was lovely and made even better that Arnold was only two tables away.

Due to Arnold's duties now he had lots of security with him, which unfortunately didn't give anyone the opportunity to get near him. Arnold didn't stay long, only about an hour then he left quietly. It was a bit disappointing not to speak or get a photo with him but as we didn't expect him to be there anyway his appearance was a great bonus. The rest of the evening was lovely and the food was great.

Unfortunately no photos of Arnold. Nobody in the restaurant took photos or anything, I think like me, everyone thought it wouldn't be polite to disturb him and his friends while they were eating. But after an hour on about the 4th course of the meal he just left. As you can imagine we were a little disappointed to see him go and when we asked the waitress if he had actually left she said it was due to a security risk he had left so quickly.

Hope you enjoyed our tales!

Best regards,
Gary & Beci
