T4 is not doing well with the fans. First no Arnold, then no returning T3 cast and now no Mostow? Chris writes:
When people talk about "Arnold's absence in T-4, immediately brings a “CADDYSHACK 2” response
and feeling.
OUCH!
Terminator fan, David Knight (T950), brings to our attention of the fan rioting taking place in our message boards.
However, there are also a couple of original ideas in there that the producers may want to consider.
T950:
There has been some pretty big ideas that not only myself, but many others would like to be
able to pass on to the producers Kassar & Vajna. Now I don’t know how realistic this is or even if you have contacts
with these people but honestly I don’t think their reading these message boards as I hoped they would be. I've been
hearing some very strange concepts in the plot for T4 and as you know, no one is liking what they hear. If only there
were a way to contact the producers and get them to listen to what the fans want.

I've said many times that Michael Biehn should be cast as General John Connor in the next film and many seem to agree
with me. I haven't had anyone yet come forward who disagrees with me. I think it would be the perfect casting for that
character considering the age of Biehn and the genetic line being the perfect excuse for the resemblance. I think these
suggestions and many of the other Terminator fans suggestions should be heard and analyzed by the producers first hand.
Having someone such as yourself representing the Arnold (Terminator) fans come to them with a large brief case full of
our scripts, ideas and concepts may just save the Terminator story and bring it to a very mind bending, gut-wrenching,
dark appropriate end that also brings us back to the horrifically dark entertaining feeling of the first film.

I know it sounds like I’m obsessing over this but honestly, all I want is success beyond all success for T4. I think its
one of the greatest stories ever told on film and should not be butchered or made a humorous mockery of.

In other news it seems Mostow will be too busy for T4! He just signed a new movie and it will be filming when T4 is
seeking new blood. ABKing sends us the scoop:
After the success of "Hitch" this weekend, Columbia Pictures is negotiating to finance "Tonight,
He Comes" as a star vehicle for Will Smith says The Hollywood Reporter. The story follows a superhero who crash-lands in
Sheepshead Bay, N.Y., and causes chaos as he romances a local housewife in an attempt to revitalize himself. Scripted six
years ago by Vincent Ngo, "Tonight, He Comes" has long been considered one of the better unmade scripts in town. Michael
Mann and Akiva Goldsman will both produce, Jonathan Mostow will direct.
Mostow supervised a 10-page take on the film geared specifically to Smith, and Vince Gilligan has already done a rewrite.
Neither Smith nor Mostow has committed to making "Tonight, He Comes" as their next pic although a holiday 2006 release
is being set.
freezedriedmovies.com reports the rumor of Kurt Wimmer (Equilibrium) may end up directing T4. For more details, click
