David, a volunteer from Cinematheque, contacts us with exciting news for those of you who can attend a special event tonight in Santa Monica, California.

Hey guys - great website. I figured you might want to know this. Sorry about the last minute notice, but I just put it together, my first star thing as a volunteer for the AmericanCinematheque.

Sandahl Bergman has agreed to visit the Aero Theatre's Conan double feature starting at 7:30pm Saturday, August 12.

We contacted her Thursday, today she said she'd come. She'll talk a bit about the film and answer a few questions - I'll get to interview her, my first star Interview (neat).

Ever see the Frazetta movie "Painting with Fire"? We showed it at the Egyptian and it was amazing on the big screen - to see that artwork on a huge scale, and with new technique where they make the pictures 3D to break them up and let him walk through them. Highly recommend it.

I'd be glad to send a report if you're not local and don't have any locals here to attend for you. You'd love the Cinematheque. We do lots of cool events.
