STAN WINSTON has created the Special Effects for such classic films as TERMINATOR, ALIENS, PREDATOR, EDWARD SCISSORHANDS, INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE, PUMPKINHEAD, JURASSIC PARK, and many more, and the list just keeps growing with his many new projects. Now, a new book called THE WINSTON EFFECT: THE ART AND HISTORY OF STAN WINSTON STUDIO gives a behind the scenes look at how all those Special Effects were created in this 336 page book that has over 500 photos from the studio archive with previously unpublished sketches, production art, in-depth contributions from STAN and all key creative personnel, and a forward by James Cameron.
