Who can ever forget CromIsGod, the barbarian warrior of TheArnoldFans? He has giving so many barbaric interviews to us in the past and often presents his latest Conan tattoo. Yeah, that guy! Later, he will certainly bring a new interview - but today is the day to witness the latest tattoo: An offering of art flesh to Crom!

This you can Trust!
By Rick Henriques AKA Cromisgod
High atop Crom's mountain I perched, gazing out upon Cimmeria, thinking of ways to pay homage to the Gods. Homage, so I may sit on their right hand and take my rightful place in Valhalla.
"Shall I pray?", I thought
"Crom does not listen to prayers", I said aloud Then the idea came to me, placed in my brain by the Grey Grim God. Many moons ago I had adorned my body with art depicted Conan, Doom and Crom. It was time for new art. It was time for a new tattoo!
For weeks I struggled with a design. I thought about paying tribute to Conan and the Gods. Then it hit me. I shall pay tribute to the man who ultimately brought us Conan, himself, THE MASTER! He said something to a young Conan, high on the very same mountain that I now contemplated: "Nothing in this world can you trust, not men, not women, not beast. But this, Conan, THIS YOU CAN TRUST." With that, stood before Conan the most beautiful sword made by the hands of man. The dark elk eyes staring into the face of those struck down by it's blade and below the words a warrior was to live by: "Suffer no guilt yee who wields this in the name of Crom".
The choice was easy. I shall adorn myself with a tribute to the Master by having his creation, his sword, tattooed on my body.
"Where shall I place this though: my arm, my back, my leg?" I thought.
Quickly I contacted my tattoo artist, Anthony Plaza of Transcend Tattoo in Branford, CT. Anthony had done all my other tattoos and understood my passion for all that is Conan. We both decided that my lower left leg would be the best place (I slide in softball on my right side) and he began the design. The Master's Sword with swirling smoke in the background. No color, just black, white and greys.
There were three stages to the masterpiece that you see before you: first the outline was done, and then some shading and smoke creation and finally the sword was brought to life with subtle shading and white tattoo ink. My homage was finally complete. A masterpiece for the ages. The gods were happy with my addition. When the days come that I must go before them I will bow with praise and then all that follow shall praise me, as I sit by their right hand.
Any more tattoos in the future you ask?
Maybe, but that is another story...
