Sandahl Bergman Wanted to Live Forever!

As we reported earlier, AmericanCinematheque volunteer, David, informed us that Sandahl Bergman was to speak at a Q&A screening for Conan. David returns to TheArnoldFans with his report and a few sexy images of Valeria!

David:
Hi Randy, First, thanks a lot for telling me about Sandahl's role in "King Conan" - it gave me a great ending. I had meant to ask if she'd voted for Arnold, knowing she was a Californian, so that was my final question before the end of the discussion. She told us about "King Conan" and a bit about the script, how it would take place in the future and his being older would have worked out great - she would have played a tavern owner and they'd have a cosmic soulmate link.

When I asked her if she had voted for him, she took a minute - I said she could opt not to answer - then she said she would answer and answer honestly. She said she did NOT vote for him - selfishly - because she knew he would not make the movie if he was elected! Great answer, great ending.

Overall, it went really well and she was very pleased. Not a large crowd, but a good sized group. People were very attentive and asked a few good questions - one woman said she and her kids love the film and adore her. She said that this kind of hero worship never ceases to thrill and amaze her, and she was very grateful.

She talked about being a Fosse dancer, about Arnold being very witty around the set though he only speaks 5 words to her in the film; about the awkwardness of their love scene and Maria already being on the scene. Great stuff.
