Attendees of Munich’s world-famous Oktoberfest annual beer event probably thought they had too much to drink and couldn’t believe their eyes when Arnold Schwarzenegger entered the beer tent to join the festivities. The Austrian Oak has actually attended several years in the past but it’s always an unannounced surprise visit as to the date and time of his arrival.
I’ve been to San Diego Comic Con over ten times and every year has a different focus from Arnold’s universe. Sometime Arnold himself is there to promote his latest film. In previous years, our favorite action hero was in San Diego to promote Escape Plan, Expendables or a Terminator film.
Can you believe this? Sure, it feels like only a decade ago when Arnold was crushing the bodybuilding competitions and it felt like only a few years ago when he was in Terminator 2. It felt like yesterday when he was in Twins and wasn’t he just Governor of California? In the blink of an eye, Schwarzenegger just turned 78 years old.
It has been almost three weeks now since my beginnings of drama had slapped me in the face but I’ll save that story of woe for another day. While I have current personal issues, I’m so happy to at least have Arnold Schwarzenegger’s FUBAR, now streaming on Netflix, get my mind off things and provide levity in this time of need. But enough talk, let me focus on telling you about a great father’s day weekend I had with my son in Los Angeles during the premiere of FUBAR.
Arnold gave his Pump Club Newsletter readers a fun surprise today when he debuted the trailer for Netflix's FUBAR Season 2, which drops in about 3 weeks on June 12 (just in time for Fathers' Day weekend). It features a look at some of the cool action, all of the returning cast from season 1
If you’re a big fan of Arnold’s films and TV projects, 2025 is shaping up to be a big year. This June we will be treated to a second season of FUBAR on Netflix and later this year, in late November, we will see Schwarzenegger as Santa in “The Man with The Bag.” Knowing Arnold, he may also have other Film, TV and video game-voiced surprised for us later this year.
